Junior Lawyer/Legal Assistant.
Keeps electronic files organized by establishing and organizing them online in the database provided; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; inputting information into electronic file database and case management software; confirming case status with attorney.
Helps develop cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case; scheduling conference calls, meetings, important deadlines and reminders re: important deadlines, etc.; preparing and forwarding information and requests; drafting legal forms and other documents; preparing and filing applications on behalf of the clients; preparing responses to clients; generating and updating online status reports.
Keeps clients informed by maintaining contact; updating and communicating (whenever necessary) case progress to the client.
Maintains daily detailed time records indicating time spent on various tasks and duties.
Supports case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for client conferences; preparing various documents; monitoring and obtaining responses from client, governmental offices, other lawyers etc.; organizing materials for team case review.
Enhances application packages prepared on behalf of a client by preparing and/or reviewing supporting documents; scheduling phone calls and conferences; ensuring that documents are ready when needed; taking notes during meetings and conference calls with clients.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications as may be recommended by the employer.
Making yourself available for attendance of international expos, meetings and exhibitions as may be requested by the employer while maintaining proper time management and sustaining current daily work assignments. Be available to attend training sessions at the offices of the employer abroad. Employer shall fully cover travel costs and reasonable living expenses during the trips.
Accomplishes the company’s goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments; and taking on other tasks and responsibilities as may be requested by the employer.
English language requirements: Fluent (speaking, writing, reading and comprehension). Working knowledge of Farsi and/or Mandarin and/or Vietnamese is an asset.
Knowledge of work with social network advertising is also an asset.
Candidate shall work remotely from the office located in Lviv, Ukraine while assisting the company’s lawyers;
Salary - negotiable and depending on the candidate's existing knowledge and experience;
Interview shall be conducted in English.
